{UAH} KENYAN NUNS DO A RUNNER WITH GOODS WORTH KSHS 600,000
Edmund,
-- Do you still use cheques in kenya? I am surprised that a shop would allow a customer to take away goods worth Shs 600,000 without checking with the bank that the cheque is genuine and is in the black to the amount requested. !!! Just because one poses as a nun should never do away with due diligence.

On Saturday, the 14th of September 2019, two ladies posed as "catholic sisters from St. Joseph seminary, Baraka" in Molo and went into an Electronic shop.
The two ladies bought goods worth 600,000ksh and paid with cheques. However, these cheques were later discovered to be fake. This was after buying 17 HD tv sets ie Samsung, Sony and LG models costing 20,000ksh-50,000ksh each.
They were in the company of a man who was their driver, who drove them in a Toyota Voxy.
After looking into the case further, it was discovered that they had gone to the same store before that day and bought goods in cash.
There's a 50k reward of Any information leading to the arrest of this suspects.
