{UAH} Malaysia maintains it's antigay laws till today
Whenever we hear Malaysia, a lot of people instantly think of kidney sales, fraudulent acts and various ills of the society. But Malaysia is one of the most important countries in Asia and there are a lot of facts about Malaysia that will blow your mind. Here are a few
1) Malaysia is home to the world's largest cave. The Sarawak cave chamber can easily house an airplane of enormous size.
2) Malaysia is home to the world's oldest twin towers. The Petronas Towers UB Kuala Lumpur was built in 2004, and has retained that title ever since.
3) Malaysia is also home to the world's tallest tropical tree. The Tualang trees are the tallest tropical trees in the world, eclipsing 80m in height.
4) Malaysia produces the best crude oil in the world. That is why this country is the wealthiest in the world.
5) Malaysia is the southernmost country in Asia and shares an Island with another continent entirely.
6) The Penang second bridge is the second longest bridge in Asia. And when you consider the countries in Asia, that is just brilliant.
7) Alocasia Macrorrhiza is the largest single leaf in the world that originated from the Malaysian State of Sabah. A specimen from 1966 measured 9.9 feet long and 6.3 feet wide.
8) What may be the world's richest unrecovered treasure trove from a sunken ship rests somewhere on the sea floor in Malaysia's Strait of Malacca. The Portuguese ship Flora de la mar (Flower of the sea) was returning home loaded with what was then the largest treasure collected by the Portuguese navy when it sank in December 1511.
9) Orangutans are found in Malay and their resemblance to the human DNA means that life may have actually started in Malaysia.
10) Malaysia maintains it's antigay laws till today. And they have a very strict legal system and most crimes are punished by death.
