Trump says Al-Baghdadi replacement killed

United States President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that American forces killed the man who was picked as the replacement of the late Islamic State (ISIS) leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
"Just confirmed that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi's number one replacement has been terminated by American troops. Most likely would have taken the top spot - Now he is also Dead!" Trump tweeted.
Over the weekend, the US president announced the US successfully eliminated Al-Baghdadi. Trump said American troops forced the late ISIS leader in a "dead-end tunnel" where he then detonated a suicide vest. Trump did not specify the name of the ISIS figure that was terminated today but earlier media reports claimed Abdullah Qardash was set to succeed Al-Baghdadi as ISIS leader.
