Democrat Staffer Gets Jail Time for Beating Trump Supporter

A Democrat staffer from Arizona has been handed a 12-day jail sentence after being convicted of physically attacking a Donald Trump supporter, once again showing that it is liberals that this country should most fear.

Last year, Daniel Zaroes Brito, former Legislative Assistant to U.S. Rep. Raúl Grijalva (D-AZ), physically attacked a man wearing a red “Make America Great Again” hat and carrying a sign reading, “Vote Jobs, Not Mobs–Vote Republican.”

Brito caused serious injuries to the Republican activist, Jonathan Sparks.

Sparks told police that Brito attacked him from behind.

“I felt a very strong grasp on my hat. It pulled me back and grabbed a lot of hair,” Sparks told the media.

“The assailant jumped onto my ankle from behind and so not knowing my ankle was broken into four pieces, I turned around to grab and take the hat back. My hands latched onto the hat,” he added.

According to Sparks, they both fell to the ground.

Sparks spent a day in the hospital and needed surgery for the injury.

Sparks also slammed the media for practically ignoring the incident because he is a white man, and if he had been a black man or if he had been waving “a rainbow flag,” there would be “a sea of reporters” at his door.

Republican Party of Arizona Chairwoman Dr. Kelli Ward was also slammed the left for the attack.

“The attack on Jonathan Sparks, a Tucson resident who was exercising his free speech rights, is part of a pattern developing on the Left where people are carrying out random acts of violence against innocent individuals simply because of their political beliefs,” Ward said. “I fear that unless he tones down his divisive rhetoric, Rep. Grijalva’s unhinged hatred for President Trump could embolden similar future acts of violence against some of his constituents who support the president.”

Democrat Brito was also sentenced to three years of probation.

Let’s hope he can keep his obscene, dangerous, volatile, liberal temper in check for the next three years.
