What international action are you taking to protect members of your community from these types of vexatious prosecutions? As a gay man, does it not scare the shit out of your arse to even think of going back to Uganda, knowing that Tony Owana and Ahmed Katerregga are waiting for you?

Chris Mubiru was Cleared Of Sodomy

Chris Mubiru is a free man. This after High Court justice Wilson Musene Masalu cleared him of sodomy, ruling that the magistrate's court wrongly convicted him.

Chris Mubiru appealed, saying the trial magistrate erred when he considered evidence from a video which hadn't been tendered in court.

Buganda Road Court chief magistrate Lilian Buchana last year had convicted Mubiru and sentenced him to 10 years imprisonment after being found guilty of sodomy. The convict was also ordered pay UGX50 million to the victim.

Mubiru this year appealed at the High Court against the sentence, saying the trial magistrate erred when he considered evidence from a video which had not been tendered in court.

In his judgment on Tuesday morning, Justice Masalu further ruled that it was wrong for the victim not to report to police, having been [allegedly] sodomized in 2009 and waited in 2013 when many years had already passed.

I posted this to respond on a certain presenter on success FM in name's of Ssekade Samuel is playing the Bobi Wine South Africa interview trying to bring up something silly.

Some let him go and ask courts why Mubiru is free not putting silly words in Bobi's mouth.
