{UAH} Dr E. B. S. Lumu: The reluctant politician at centre of 1966 Crisis

On two occasions 2013 I visited Dr E. B. S. Lumu at his Bakuuli home.

He was very old but very alert.

We talked a lot about medicine, politics and his own condition which I
found very wanting Dr E. B. S. Lumu having been a prominent medical
doctor and a minister.

Dr E. B. S. Lumu knew and worked with my Grandfather Dr. Bartholomew Nvule

As any Muganda he found no regrets for a state of affairs that
undermined and wanted to reduce O'Bwakabaka Bwabuganda to nothing.

Dr E. B. S. Lumu left politics for higher ideals that is medical
profession and also on advise from his friends like Dr. Bartholomew
Nvule and Dr. Samson Babi Mululu Kisekka.

I am sad , I never recorded these encounters but I also warn the
Baganda to stop neglecting such prominent personalities in the kingdom
that make history.

Bwanika.
