{UAH} THE LIBERIANS ARE OUT OF THE IMMIGRATION LIMBO

One of the people that have been held in an immigration limbo for a long time, are the Liberians that came to United States between 1989 and 2003 due to the war in their country. Administration after administration have been looking at these people and kicking the bucket down the road. As we continue reading the massive National Defense Authorization Act,  that was signed few days ago into law, we now understand that there is clause in the bill allowing many of them to apply for a green card. By this clause, The Liberians covered in this clause are not even going to be subjected to the “Public Charge” test, a clause which the US could use to deny them green cards,  if they are likely to become dependent on government assistance in the future.

 

If you are a Liberian that came to United States due to the war back home, your spouse and all un married children, walk to the US Citizenship and Immigration Services, and apply for United States citizenship today, for under this bill, the administration has allowed you to do so.
