{UAH} Owino and Nakasero markets prices today

Just been to Owino and Nakasero markets to sample prices-

It is not really mango season but Mangoes from some regions and as far
as Kakamega have poured in. and goes for between UGx 1000 (5 pieces)
to UGx 5000 15 pieces

Carrots a bunch UGx 1000
Avocado six pieces for UGx 1000 to 10 pieces UGx 2000
Goats meat UGx 1600 kilo
Beef UGx 11200 kilo
Spices prices remain as usual UGx 1000 25 grams
Sugar UGx 2700 - 3000 kilo
salt UGx 1200 kilo
Rice UGx 2500 - 7000 kilo (Basimati long needles)
Sweet potatoes UGx 2000 - 5000 a bunch of 5 -10 pieces
Green vegetables (all types) UGx 1000 - UGx 2000 a bunch
Onions between UGx 1000 - 2000 a bunch

Somewhere on my way pork is UGx 5000 -6000 kilo (no sold in either markets)
Chicken big breast UGx 12000 - 20000 (Nakasero)
6000 half kilo

Tilapia (Nile) UGx 7000 - UGx 25000 half o 2,5 kilo owino sell whole fish
Nile perch UGx 12000 kilo
Lung fish UGx 8000 kilo
Dries fish (angara , tilapia etc) UGx 7000 kilo - UGx 20000 2 kilo

Millet flour UGx 2000 - UGx 2500 kilo
Cassava flour UGx 1500 kilo

Oranges /fresh) UGx 1000 - UGx 2000 6 - 15 pieces
Banana bunch UGx 6000 (only) Nakasero
Ananas (pineapple) UGx 1500 (small abt 1/4 kilo - UGx 3500 2.5 kilo )
pawpaws high breed UGx 2000 - UGx 5000 Nakasero

irish pottaotes a UGx 2000 ( 2kg) - UGx 5000 a tin approximately 5 kg (Debbe)

Fresh untreated milk UGx 1100 half a litre to 2000 litre

Nsenene (grasshopper) UGx 1000 25 grams

Bread prices unchanged ( UGx 2500 half kilo - UGx 5000 kilo)
Local Ghee ( UGx 8000 half kilo)



I am yet to check prices for

Kwete (millet brew )
Local Brew ( banana brew Mwenge Bigere)
Coca cola products


There is no passion fruits
