{UAH} President Museveni backs UPDF on fisheries operations

President Museveni backs UPDF on fisheries operations

President Museveni has praised the UPDF for the work they have done to fight illegal fishing on Lake Victoria and Lake Kyoga despite allegations of brutality leveled against the soldiers by affected fishermen.

Museveni made these remarks from Kalaki District where he had gone to commission a church built by Lt General Peter Elwelu, the Commander of Land Forces
