{UAH} Sudan abolishes a Shariah-inspired law

See the new government in Sudan has not wasted time in getting rid of Sharia law. Sharia law has no place in public life and should be restricted to the Mosque and bedroom. No country in the world should force its citizens to live in the stone age.

Sudan abolishes a Shariah-inspired law

Sudan's transitional government announced Friday it overturned a Shariah-based law considered a holdover of the rule of deposed leader Omar al-Bashir, which was said to target women.
