{UAH} MP Otto admitted to hospital following alleged fight with MP Akol

Folks;

Where is the honor in "Honorable", if Members of Parliament engage in physical alteration, moreover, within the precincts of Parliament? 

Apparently, MP Otto made some allegations against his Kilak North counterpart, Anthony Akol, which caused Akol enormous grief and embarrassment, especially because the comment was within the earshot of a delegation of Akol's constituents.

One would expect Akol to ignore Otto at this point, and take up the matter at another time. 

Also, one would expect Otto to convey his harsh allegation against Akol through a different channel. They both were aware that they had all sorts of avenues to air their issues. Instead, Akol went primitive here, and lunged at Otto with a heavy punch.

In Kenya, a week or so back, an MP shot a night club DJ in the wee hours of the morning. Why, on earth, would a national leader, as an MP is, be at a night club, let alone at small hours of the morning? 

 I don't know how much protection an MP gets under Uganda's Parliamentary Immunity rules, but the Speaker should severely reprimand Otto and Akol, and even initiate a process to expel them.
