Iranian state television is reporting that Teheran has launched several surface-to-surface missiles at Iraq’s Ain Assad Air base housing U S troops. The state television statement is describing it as an action in revenge over the killing of Revolutionary Guard Gen. Qassem Solemani. To be clear, as by this posting the US forces are not reachable or commenting, and there is no other source making any comment about this claim.
