{UAH} Why pay water bills for life in a country where water can go off anytime??

You spend millions building your fabulous home but pay water bills for life in a country where water can go off anytime why not get your own underground water..it's saves you some money and worries of water being off..you cry of loadsheding why not put a solar panel on your house.it saves you bills and the stress of power going off as you watch your nice movie or game

Underground water in Kampala is too contaminated, so get specialists. look for a qualified personnel to handle the challenges of contamination.Contamination is as a result of leakages, when the tank is not well constructed with right materials, find someone who understand construction especially in areas with raised water tables. For NWSC water you need even to boil or use indoor UV treatment system to be more safe. otherwise that water has a lot of feacal matter.

In urban areas I hear its illegal to make a well. But many people do it quietly. Cheapest way is harvesting rain water, no hustle.

Solar, yes the initial investment is not cheap. But a good reliable company can give you an investment plan and if you are diligent and stick to it you can have your power sorted out. If you think solar is expensive just calculate how much yaka you can use in 5 years even if its at. 50,000 per month. Not forgetting the inconvenience of load shedding and transformer blowing up and you spend two months without power and you need to contribute to the bribe to get a new one. Meanwhile during that time, you are relying on candles and you have kids in the house that you leave with an illiterate maid.!!--
