Fw: {UAH} History: How Idi Amin gave late Daniel Arap Moï The Kenyan Presidency.

Lumumba Amin;

This dream piece of work you've imagined is your childish imagination trying to make your late father larger than life. 1978 some of us were in university, am not sure how old you were then.

For starters, let me cut and paste some section of your fictional piece and insert my response in {bold)
".....Idi Amin joining all the leaders and foreign dignitaries as they walked behind the late Kenyatta's funeral cortege on the main avenue in Nairobi. The Kenyan public stood all alongside the road, and upon noticing Idi Amin, they temporarily forgot about the funeral, and started waving and jubilating {the waving and jubilation was not only accorded your late father, it was for ALL dignitaries, it was not on the popularity of Idi Amin in Kenya. Remember we Kenyans used to wave and whistle at Stanley Oloitiptip due to his elephantine size and rotundness similar to that of your father's physique... vs their positions in the country juxtaposed against their level of education and ethical behaviour.....} instead. That was how popular Amin was even in Kenya.
The second development during this time was far more serious, and is an important lesson/knowledge that we as a country, especially the leaders of today and tomorrow, should always have in mind for the sake of national stability.
Though Daniel Arap Moi was Vice President at the time, {Moi was sworn in the following day's afternoon after Kenyatta passing on at night in Mombasa, and we had 1wk of national mourning before the foreign dignitaries arrived for burial. Kenyatta lay in state at State House, Nairobi. So Moi was already president, as per old constitution, he was acting president for 90days} it appears there was a group of the late Jomo Kenyatta's closest friends and confidants who had already made other succession arrangements together with the late Kenyatta before his death."

Stop this blatant lies, tell it to your children and grandies in private if you must lie.

Edmund
