Meet Babra Kyasiimire, Regarded By Many As The Next Inline To Market Uganda's Tourism Potential.
"Success is not what you have but who you are." – Bo Bennet
Babra Kyasiimire's journey to the top is a perfect fulfillment of the above quote. From the land of milk and honey Kiruhura District, this gorgeous and hardworking lady hails. Kyasiimire is a Sales and Assistant Marketing Executive of one of the best tourism companies in town. You can see the smile, love, and enthusiasm on her face while talking about the beauty of the Pearl of Africa Uganda.
Her success has mostly been attributed to her traits such as honesty, patience, and kindness. She is also organized, ambitious and above all, God-fearing. Kyasiimire went to Lyantonde Model Primary School and Ian College Lyantonde for Ordinary and Advanced levels. Unfortunately, Babra fell severely ill during the last term of her senior six and did her final examinations in a poor health state. When results came out, Kyasiimire discovered that she did not meet the requirements to proceed for a Bachelor's degree. This wrecked her heart because she never had control over the circumstances that befell her during the examination period.
Nevertheless, she enrolled and studied a Diploma in Business Administration and Management at MultiTech Business School majoring in Management. She went ahead and later attained a certificate in Information Technology from Milestone Technologies. Kyasiimire looks back at her journey and only has God to thank. Despite the challenges, Babra made it. ''Now I have a job that I do with passion''.
Kyasiimire is now an experienced sales and marketing personnel in the Tourism sector. Besides tourism, she is passionate about charity and loves helping less privileged people. She is a partner with See Them Grow Foundation, a None- Government Organization, with whom she has helped to build a school for Orphans. She says that school fees are raised through fundraising campaigns, financial support from their sponsors in the USA and other well-wishers. Kyasiimire has passion for business and has plans to start her own in the near future. More so, she hopes to continue her Education later this year. Her desire is to keep growing in faith, excelling in her career, achieve financial stability, get married and have a family.
Her story is a clear indicator that nothing can stop your dreams. Remain inspired!
