Over 24 Ugandan lawyers who studied their Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Rwanda Institute of Legal Practice have petitioned the Speaker of Parliament, Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga over the refusal by the Uganda Law Council to issue them with Certificate of Eligibility.
They say despite some having their clerkship from the Ugandan Law firms, the Uganda Law Council has become discriminatory to the extent that their applications have been rejected on arrival.
