A toilet and its goodness will tell you everything about a place: the place's cleanness, hygiene, management, level of income, attention to detail. And its (toilet's) badness will tell the same of the opposite...this applies to both private and public place...one hack I know is constant cleaning. try the following to help your toilet smell better:
1. Try cutting a Lennon's and drop it into the cistern. Every flash brings the lemon Smell.this can last like a week.
2. Toilet is scrubbed daily with vim and Jeyes any scent that suits my moods at the end of the month when purchasing. These days vim only, money is scarce but we are still good. Air freshener drives the bad smell away. Let it soak overnight with Vim and other detergents and scrub every morning, leave the toilet brush outside to dry.
3. weed kajampuni keeps taps sparkling bright. Don't know scientific name. Very common in our gardens. Pluck a hand full. Rub it in your hands and scrub on a mouldy tap. You will be shocked
4. Use bicarbonate of soda every so often sprinkle in toilet before u go to sleep and leave it there till the morning
Then u can use grated lemon rind to freshen toilet.
If with children who often susu on the floor sprinkle vim overnight n scrub in the morning
5. "Handy Andy" it's works magic, can be found in Game, costs about 9k a bottle
6. Lately I've discovered fabric softener mixed with vinegar for a good smell and i use the mixture after cleaning my bathroom/toilet
7. There are those persil balls they use in washing machines. Use them for cleaning the toilet. Damn, it will smell fresh. Also you can use for the whole house
