Nova Scotia declares state of emergency

Premier of Nova Scotia Stephen McNeil has declared a state of emergency for the province due to the spread of COVID-19. The province will be limiting gatherings to no more than five people. Police will now be asked to enforce self-isolation and social distancing through the public health office.

47 new coronavirus cases confirmed in Ontario, total now at 424

Ontario is reporting 47 new COVID-19 cases today, bringing the total in the province to 424. The total includes eight resolved cases and three deaths. Over 8,300 cases are currently under investigation.
