Finding an honest electrician is like looking for needle in haystack. I have dealt with contractors. There is no honest one. And yes, don't rely on only one quotation. Always look for several and compare prices .Am told it's the trick they use these days if u insist on just the Quotation and you have to buy your stuff, they make u buy double or Trippe on whats needed and they still them from u

For the earth rod if they buy for you they will bring fake if you buy for yourself but don't supervise they will not put it in the ground .

Advise is always be involved in the purchasing of materials and be fair in paying reasonable labour cost to your service providers.  

I do recommend Sesc Technical & General Services to do a wonderful job as they are genuine and transparent (0704 326098-Robert Wakulali , or  Faizo 0703719094  

Even tiles they will tell you much more boxes per Sq meter than needed and ferry the rest to their small shops
