{UAH} 1,000 people to benefit from Relief Food supplies in Rukungiri
RUKUNGIRI- Over 1000 people who are critically in need of food are expected to benefit from relief food, which was recently donated by well wishers who include prominent citizens, the church and members of the business community in Rukungiri District.
According the Chairman Rukungiri Coronavirus Task Force Dan Ayebazibwe Kaguta the exercise to distribute the food relief kicked off yesterday Friday April 17th 2020, with the distribution to the most needy people whose sources of income was greatly disrupted by the ongoing lock-down across the country .
Speaking to journalists, Mr Kaguta who is also Rukungiri Resident District Commissioner, said that the available relief food is estimated to benefit over 1000 beneficiaries across the district.
