The portal to apply for Canada Emergency Response Benefit opened up from last night on both Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB)  and  Support for individuals or  Support for businesses. It is very user friendly to my surprise. The system is  made to be able sending you money in average 3 days  if you registered your bank account with CRA, if you did not register it and you get your checks in mail, it takes about 10 days at average. They are paying $2,000 a month for 4 months for now. The main complaint we are getting is that the system throws you out, and we are finding that it throws out people mostly due to their birth dates. I am reminding you that the dates were set this way, if you were born between January to March you can apply from yesterday Monday the 6^th, between April to June you can apply from today Tuesday the 7^th, between July and September you can apply only from tomorrow Wednesday the 8^th, between October and December you can apply only on Thursday the 9^th. From coming Friday, Saturday and Sunday any birth date can apply.

 

These sections were set in to cut out the nonsense that ran in the US system yesterday when the system kept on crushing for the entire population decided to apply yesterday. The IT system we have in this continent is actually garbage, and if you transmit data as many of us do in the day you will realize that your system keeps on cutting off, and making phone calls results in no circuits are available, for every one sitting at home is on line in some way. Thus when you put in your birth date, and it is not your scheduled time to apply, the system automatically throws you out, wait for your day then apply. That limit is going to be taken off from Friday. The application sites have a live chat assistance too to guide you if you have an issue, but the portal its self by government standards is very friendly surprisingly.

 

If you are not supposed to be working go home and firkin stay home.
