{UAH} What is it like to be involved in a lawsuit against Donald Trump?

I'm from NJ so I can answer this with absolute certainty because one of my friend's father did work for the Trump organization and got lowballed. He was a contractor who did some work for him in NJ and they entered into an agreement where the Trump organization would pay him $125,000 for doing the job. He received $50,000 up front to pay for the materials and some of the labor, but when the job was done and it was time to pay him the balance of $75,000 Trump's team of lawyers told him that he could either take $50,000 or sue. Then they told him if he sued they would file hundreds of frivolous motions and keep the case tied up in court for as long as possible, and if he won, they would appeal the judgement. My friend's father wasn't a wealthy man, and he couldn't afford to have the case tied up in the courts for years because he had employees he had to pay and work he had to do, so he ended up getting stiffed out of $25,000. Trump's lawyers made him sign a document that stated he wouldn't take any legal action and succeeded in stiffing him of the $25,000 he was owed.

Trump's organization has been screwing people over for years, and $25,000 is a lot of money to a regular middle class guy with a small business. I doubt there are many people in the tri-state area (NY, NJ, CT) that don't know what a piece of shit Trump is. This was about 20 years ago, but it's pretty tough to forget. I'm still friends with the family and I talked to his father about what happened in more detail when Trump won the primary. Trump is from NY, and even though NY and NJ are blue states, Trump lost by a wider margin in both states than any Republican in recent history.
