{UAH} 20 Reasons why Uganda is called the Pearl of Africa

Winston Churchill in his 1908 Book "My African Journey" called Uganda the Pearl of Africa because of its beauty, its natural wonders and its welcoming people. Uganda is indeed the Pearl of Africa basing on the following 20 reasons.

1. Uganda is the most friendly, safe, welcoming and joyous country in Africa
2. Ugandans are welcoming people with rich culture; Ethnic groups: Baganda, Banyankole, Bahima, Bakiga, Banyarwanda, Bunyoro, Batoro, Langi, Acholi, Lugbara, Karamojong, Basoga, Bagisu, and others. The Baganda are the largest ethnic group in Uganda and comprise approximately 17% of the population.
3. The country has fertile soils;
4. Uganda has a good climate; Uganda's weather conditions are ideal, ranging from the warmth of the lowland areas to the coolness of the highlands in the South West Kigezi.
5. Uganda is the source of the Nile.
6. Most bio-diverse country in Africa.
7. Home of primates e.g. mountain gorillas and forest chimpanzees and so on.
8. The equator passes through the country.
9. Lake Victoria Africa biggest fresh water lake.
10. The country has snow peaked mountains like Mount Rwenzori.
11. White sand beaches in Lake Victoria.
12. Amazing Eco-Tourism sites.
13. Great Historical sites.
14. Uganda has over 1,062 species of
15. 25 % of the area of Uganda is covered with Rivers , Swamps and Lakes.
16. The Great Rift Valley occupies part of Western Uganda.
17. Uganda has a diverse culture with over forty languages being spoken. English (official), Swahili (official), Luganda, Acholi, Japadhola, Lugisu, Runyankole, Lusamia,Lugwere, Lugbara, Kumam and numerous other local languages.
18. The ancient traditional kingdoms of Buganda, Bunyoro-Kitara, Busoga and Toro are still in existence.
19. Uganda is connected to the World through a number of International Airlines.
20. Uganda has a vibrant nightlife with tasty beers, beautiful women and handsome men.
