{UAH} MESSAGE TO TANZANIA!

Let me get back to this topic one last time since fellow leaders in the East African Community might still not be telling Tanzanian President His Excellency John Pombe Magufuli (picture attached) the technical imperatives that he needs to hear.
I will say this one last time, pragmatically, and in good faith, and hopefully save lives of the people of Tanzania whose fate lies in his executive decisions.

Sir,
If your problem is substandard Corvid-19 test kits, then simply get for your people the proven quality ones.
In the struggle against a fast-spreading deadly virus that is known to have infected almost 4 million people to-date, and continuing to cause countless grieving families, millions have lost their jobs & livelihoods, entire populations exploited and starving on this continent as we speak due to lockdown, and now people overseas facing hunger as well, economies collapsing and loosing almost a trillion dollars already globally, plus other untold suffering, misery and anxiety around the world, one thing is for sure: There is simply no way to bypass testing in this pandemic.
And I don't have to be a medical expert to know that.
Even today if you go to any doctor and tell them that you think you have malaria, the doctor will first send you to the lab for a blood test. It is only this test that will say if you are sick or not. And only after that will the doctor scribble something unreadable on a small piece of paper, the prescription of the medecine to buy at the pharmacy for what they found in your blood at the lab.
So without that lab test even the best doctor is powerless.
Therefore just get a proven test kit if the one you have been using is faulty. Even Europeans also bought faulty kits and demanded their money back. But they knew that they needed to continue searching until they got quality ones simply because test kits are insurmountable in modern medical diagnostics.
Meanwhile here in Uganda our people are increasingly complaining that Tanzanians and Kenyans are infecting us. As you know your croos-border truck drivers are the ones being found infected with the disease here in Uganda.
I will leave aside my concerns about the targeting of our Ugandan tests for now. Because we are all in this together wether we like each other or not. In these difficult times, unity, transparency and solidarity are key for us to come out successful against this disease. Consider this my honest and humble contribution to the people of the republic of Tanzania.
Thank You. Hapa kazi tu!!!!!
