{UAH} MY FIRST REAL INVOLVEMENT IN STRUGGLE.

14th NOVEMBER 2005: I was visiting my brother Innocent Busingye Indyanabangi at Wanderland Hostel on Agha Khan Road.
Innocent was friends with Museveni fanatic Charles Kazooba and together, they worked at a Publication called The Stream based at Avmer Shopping mall. It was owned by a General, if I recall their conversation.
In the afternoon, I hear Kizza Besigye has been arrested at Busega. As Kampala went up in flames, I exited Wanderland Hostel and entered Kisekka Market. MAYHEM.
I frankly don't remember what I was thinking but I was highly charged as if stung by a wasp, and there I was burning tyres and mixing freely with Kisekka boys.
I had never been to Kisekka and didn't know anyone there. I also had never been exposed to drugs nor alcohol. But I was there in chaos.
The story of 2001 is for another day.
15yrs later, here I am with my eyes still firmly on the ball.
But guys who joined 'struggle' in June 2017 from showbiz and were coached and instructed to abuse everyone they found in the struggle are in NRM in May 2020. Beatrice Anywar and Betty Kamya never abused DP and UPC leaders they found. Never.They attacked Museveni until he fished them. But the way you guys have abused FDC leaders, oh God knows. Just under 3yrs Babise. Not cool at all.
When I was a reporter at Parliament, two Ministers invited me into their offices.We discussed politics at length and they asked me why I didn't like Museveni.They never bothered to know why I loved his opponent.After usually not so long discussions, they all gave some money and I don't know how much but I declined.I knew then, the moment you touch the money, a camera could be some where recording.I left their offices and their money in their hands.Once you touch it, you are finished.
I actually was recruited in 2001 by PPU soldiers. I was very naive then.The recruiters were PPU soldiers. The one who was my relative died in 2004 and his friend who had visited him is still alive.
