{UAH} The Trump administration’s excuses are getting more incoherent - The Washington Post
As the death toll, unemployment (now up to at least 30 million) and ancillary consequences of the pandemic — e.g., mental health problems, abuse cases, financial stress — all increase, President Trump has been told the obvious: His reelection prospects are dimming as one group after another abandons him. Now, even seniors have begun to defect. (Perhaps older voters are miffed the Trump team seems so anxious to restart the economy that it is willing to risk more deaths among the most vulnerable population, primarily the elderly. Willingness to let you die, it turns out, is not a popular position.)
