{UAH} Donald Trump shared a statement by Gorka that read “I’m not a Marine, but I know the Marines, Jim Mattis is no Marine.” What do you think about this message?

A person NOT a Marine calling a person who reached the pinnacle of the Corps "no Marine" and a "coward? A true Marine, combat tested and recipient of the Bronze Star (with valor)?

This from a guy who never served, who has been an advisor and academic his entire career. Pretty much what Trump would disparagingly call an "elitist." I would like him to take a trip to Camp Lejeune, stand amongst a group of career Marines and call Gen Mattis a coward and "no Marine." After he gets his new dental work and they unwire his jaw, he just might reconsider. Marines being disciplined, that probably wouldn't happen. But they'd be thinking it…

I am retired Air Force but had mostly joint service assignments working closely with Marines much of the time. I deployed with them. I worked directly for one, and he was one of the finest officers of any branch I encountered in my 21 years. I worked with others daily for most of my career. I have nothing but huge respect for the Marine Corps. You DO NOT want to bad mouth them in my presence.
