I have heard some 'opposition' activists claim that Dr Kizza Besigye has for a long time been working with (and for) President Museveni.
"They are in a some sort of game to fool Ugandans. That is why you see even when he is arrested, he is treated well," a vocal activist who has changed party membership three times in a space of 10 years, posted on his Facebook page recently.
Yet intriguingly, the same activist last week posted on his page that Besigye and FDC are failing the efforts to unite the opposition to take on Museveni in 2021.
The activist wants FDC and Besigye to state clearly that they will support a unified opposition candidate.
But I ask myself: "Why is this activist bothered that Besigye, a so called Museveni mole hasn't responded to the calls for unity?"
Wont this "mole" be counter-productive to the opposition strategy in 2021?
Why are you using all kinds tricks, including blackmail, to try to lure this "mole" to your side?
Why don't let them be the mole they say he is?
Afterall, the Ugandan voters are not stupid.
They will surely know what to do with him at the elections.
