{UAH} Ocen, Allan, SP, Gook//Muwanga’s silent war against Obote
Folks;
There is a lot to digest from this life-long feud between President Obote and Paulo Muwanga. The whole recollection confirms two things for me:
1) President Obote was justified in arresting and detaining the five ministers in 1966; they had committed treason.
2) President Museveni has untruthful about his age, or probably his family background!
From the beginning of his presidency, Museveni has always said that he was named after the Seventh Battalion of the African Kings Rifle, during the Word War Two. That would mean that there had been no other person named Museveni prior to the War.
But here, we learn that back in the early 1960's, when Museveni was still a teenager, there was one Adereya Museveni, a Rwanede, who was busily participating in the brewing political turmoil of the time!
So, is President Museveni a relative to that other Museveni? Remember, President Obote dismissed President Museveni as Munyarwanda!

Muwanga was also bitter with the Baganda for giving away the coercive wing of the Uganda National Movement (that had organised Augustine Kamya's boycott) to a one Adereya Museveni, a Munyarwanda. He was also bitter that through KY, Buganda had surrendered its political leadership to Daudi Ocheng, an Acholi. Through his phone tappings, Muwanga had known Ocheng to be a collaborator of the colonial government.
