South Africa moves to start a new nuclear power program.

South Africa became the first and only country in the world to voluntarily give up all the nuclear weapons it built itself in 1989.

All the nuclear bombs (6 constructed and 1 under construction) were dismantled.

Nuclear power is believed to be clean and environmentally friendly, unless or otherwise leakages happen. Good move. More electricity to be exported to neighbouring states
