TREASON AND CONCEALMENT OF TREASON
The offence is provided for under section 23(1) of the Penal Code Act. It may be committed in various circumstances which include;
a) Levying war against the state.
b) Unlawfully causing or attempting to cause death of the President.
c) Plotting to overthrow a government established by law using force of arms.
d) Unlawful wounding or pointing a gun or any unlawful weapon to the president.
e) Where a person aids or abets another in commission of the above acts or becomes an accessory before or after the fact of the above acts.
f) Concealing any of the above acts.
