{UAH} Why do Trump supporters feel that liberals think they are dumb?

Let me suggest a few reasons.

First of all, they are keeping company with people like this:

This does not look like reasoned discourse.

If I were standing next to these people, I might be sensitive about what assumptions people might make about me.

Second, President Trump keeps making implausible promises, and then making no progress toward keeping them. Do you remember his promise to release his taxes? Do you remember who was going to pay for the wall? Do you remember that he was going to introduce his plans for the best healthcare reform ever? Do you remember his claim that by "closing the border" to China, he had vanquished COVID-19, once and for all? Was "She" ever "Locked Up"?

Somebody clearly thinks Trump supporters are stupid, and it is more convenient for Trump supporters to pretend that it is liberals. But don't put that on us. It is Trump himself who proves every day that he thinks his supporters are too stupid for words.
