{UAH} 18 MPs Who Have Never Said a Word in Parliament

Despite drawing huge salaries and allowances each month, there are legislators who have never made any contributions in Parliament according to a report.

Mzalendo Trust, an entity that keeps an eye on the Kenyan parliament has today morning released a report highlighting contributions made by legislators in the 12th parliament.

The report revealed the most active and most silent Members of the National Assembly.

In pointing out the non-performers in the Parliament, Mzalendo has also expressed its concerns regarding the MPs' minimal legislative output citing the lawmakers' performance undermines the role of the August House.

Referencing Mzalendo's Parliamentary scorecard, here are 18 Members of Parliament who are yet to make any Parliamentary contributions:

Despite being a newsmaker frequently, Kapseret Member of Parliament has never spoken in parliament since 2017.

The lawmaker is known to be quite vocal on social media platforms and in political rallies but has never said a word in Parliament, according to the Mzalendo report.

Nakuru Town West Member of Parliament Samuel Arama also made it to the list of non-performers.

Just like his counterpart Sudi, the report revealed that Arama has made zero contribution in the parliament since 2017.
