Armed Forces member arrested on grounds of Rideau Hall: source

A member of the Canadian Armed Forces was the suspect arrested Thursday morning following an incident at Rideau Hall, a source tells CityNews. The RCMP say around 6:40 a.m. an armed man accessed the grounds of 1 Sussex Drive. The suspect was arrested shortly after and the incident was safely resolved. Both the Prime Minister and the Governor General reside on the property, but neither were home at the time of the incident.
