{UAH} US, UK end some diplomatic immunity privileges

Folks;

The UK government has scored a major victory over US in their squabbles over diplomatic immunity of spouses of diplomats.

The  case over Anne Sacoolas, the wife an American diplomat who was accused of running over a 19-year old British motor cyclist, killing him. Ms. Sacoolas claimed diplomatic immunity, and escaped criminal charges in UK.

Now, UK says diplomatic immunity won't apply to such spouses. They have opened a Pandora's box here:

1) Dependents - spouses, children house helps - of diplomats should be stripped off their immunity

2) Americans who commit crimes outside of the country should face trials, and upon conviction, serve their sentence there.
