Why not? With a wide political field with almost no rules, a carefree referee and linesmen, Uganda is showing the world that, with leadership of a country, anybody is capable of picking nomination forms but only one person will be winning all the time!
We are familiar with the abilities of 18 year olds in leadership positions in Uganda. For instance, Hon Alengot (18 then) ably represented her Katakwi district in the August House after which she hung up her boots unlike old people who want to die in office. She was better than most MPs in using modern communication gadgets like laptops, and she didn't like escorts.
Maybe we should elect kids, they know how to leave and are less expensive! This one would be satisfied with a convoy of 2 vehicles unlike very old people who want 2 miles long convoy of escorts, scared of death.
And that is multiparty democracy, made in Uganda.
Congratulations HE
Peter Simon
