{UAH} Kabaka Mutebi on holiday in Kenya — Mengo

In a way I dont blame those who raised dust and smoke about Mutebi's departure. He checked in at the Aga Khan hospital where my niece practices medicine. She called to ask if Uganda still had ancient kings bcos one of them had just checked in the hospital in a motorcade with armed bodyguards and all staff/employees were notified about a Uganda king at the hospital. I hadnt even heard or read about Kabaka's holiday in Kenya.

Holidays are how African deceive their oppressed citizens when they out themselves to hospitals abroad for treatment. Needless to say some have returned from their said holidays in caskets, aka coffins, leaving natives wondering what cancelled their lives during holidays.

Anyway, just know he is at the Aga Khan Univ Hospital in Nairobi for a reason or reasons. I got an eye witness there.

KAMPALA – The Kabaka of Buganda, is taking a two months holiday contrary to reports that he is unwell.

According to a local online only publication Watchdog Uganda, Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II, after a busy schedule that saw him celebrate his 27th anniversary this month, decided to take his annual two months leave in Kenya's Masai Mara.

The story, authored by the publication's Editor Mike Ssegawa quotes sources within Buganda Kingdom as saying;-
"Every year Kabaka Mutebi takes his leave after the coronation anniversary between August and September. It usually lasts two months. He has done this every year since he was enthroned 36th Kabaka of Buganda. He has entrusted all the affairs of running the Kingdom to his Prime Minister who only gets in touch with him whenever there is need".

Rumours have been making rounds that the Kabaka had checked in a Nairobi hospital at the weekend. But Buganda Kingdom Prime Minister came out earlier in the week to dismiss the rumours, allaying any fears that the Kabaka was unwell.

President Museveni on Thursday night said the police would arrest those who hd originated such an acidic rumour on social media.

"Why do you go to social media to announce death of person?" The President asked, adding that the police would trace such people "who will be dealt with".

After the coronation anniversary celebrations at the Mengo Palace, Kabaka Mutebi appeared at the Ministry of Internal Affairs to update his diplomatic passport to enable him take this break.

"After that he drove to Kenya. President Uhuru Kenyatta gave him some of his presidential guards who picked him from Malaba," the Watchdog Uganda reported on Thursday August 20.

According to the story, the Kabaka has always wanted to witness the annual migration of the animals from Tanzania to Kenya and this time he decided to go and witness what one could say is the world's greatest wonders — the Serengeti wildebeest migration "when there are less tourists given his security detail".
