{UAH} TWO BROTHERS, HUSBAND, WIFE CONTEST IN SAME PARLIAMENTARY RACE IN RUBIRIZI DISTRICT

Two brothers, husband and wife are contesting for parliamentary seats in Rubirizi for the forthcoming NRM primaries.

In Katerera county Rubirizi district two brothers; Hatwib Katooto the incumbent and his elder brother Muhammed Katooto are fighting for the same parliamentary seat.

Kesande Grace

In a related development, the incumbent Woman MP for Bunyaruguru Kesande Grace Bataringaya is contesting for the same seat while the husband Bataringaya is contesting for Bunyaruguru parliamentary seat.

According to sources, the Bataringayas are both contesting because of the disagreements at home related to sexual infidelity.

Hatwib and Muhammed were at first friends as brothers but started fighting here and there and eventually contested together in 2016.

In an exclusive interview with www.mknewslink.com managing editor at Tuzza last evening, Hatwib Katooto noted that they do not have serious differences and he does not have a bad heart for his brother.

Hatwib added that in case people of Katerera do not vote him, he wishes they could vote his brother.

Hatwib noted that he suspects that their differences emerged due to the fact that they are not from different mothers.
