{UAH} Uganda politics sucks!

Surely Uganda must be under some kind of spell or curse......., otherwise how can this entrapment over us by the executive and legislature being in bed and continuously colluding to ensure that there is no progress be explained. This creation of new constituencies and elective offices under the current circumstances of huge debt and slow to almost zero economic growth is mind boggling.

 The current 445 MPs are swallowing a cool UGX 637 bn which when you compare to economy driving productive sectors like tourism (194 bn), science technology & innovation (163 bn), trade & industry (172 bn), judiciary (182 bn) you just want to weep.

Now with the increase to 527 MPs; their budget is going to be way beyond 700 bn........, incredible. And interestingly Uganda as compared to Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda has the lowest GDP/capita (UG USD 777, RW USD 802, KQ USD 1,816 and TZ USD 1,122) and yet has the highest number of MPs/100,000 population (UG 1.2, KQ 0.7, TZ 0.7 and RW 0.8).

We really need divine deliverance; but as we wait for that, we need to force these betrayers out Magezi style so that as a minimum they do not partake of their useless and unprogressive fruits.
