{UAH} UNAA Welcomes Ms. Barbara Mutabazi to the 2020 Trade and Investments Forum

32^nd Annual Convention of the Ugandan North American Association

UNAA is pleased to welcome Ms. Barbara Birunju Mutabazi to this year's Trade and Investments Forum. 

 

Ms. Mutabazi is a ground-breaking innovator dedicated to promoting the economic empowerment of youth, especially girls and women, by encouraging greater youth participation in Uganda's technology sector and actively contributing to the budding IT innovation and entrepreneurship sector of the country.  She is the a Co- Founder and Director of Hive Colab, Uganda's Premier business accelerator and incubator for East African startups, and founder of WITU (Women in Technology Uganda), which encourages, inspires, and trains women in technology, leadership and entrepreneurship.

Ms. Mutabazi will make a presentation on the following.

 

1:     What is coding?

2:     Why she believes it is important to teach women to code.

3:     What and where is the market for these kinds of services.

4:     What steps she is taking to promote her vision.
