{UAH} WHY NAMBOOZE’S DAYS IN NUP WON’T BE THAT MANY
By Mulengera Reporters
Being one that is used to the Norbert Mao's permissiveness of not strictly enforcing party rules, new PP/NUP recruit Betty Nambooze has vowed to carry on with her defiance approach whereby she will continue supporting people she considers stronger opposition candidates even if that means decampaigning those carrying the PP/NUP flag.

Kyagulanyi and Betty Nambooze
Speaking on NBS' Frontline program, where Mao eloquently likened their defection from DP to PP/NUP to inmates being relocated from Luzira to Nalufenya without necessary gaining any freedom from captivity, Nambooze said there is no way she will entertain anybody competing against her longtime political allies like Semujju Nganda of Kiira Municipality and Erias Lukwago for Kampala Mayorship.
She said even when she officially is now a NUP member, she doesn't expect any opposition political formation candidates against them because they are very strong and simply the best the opposition can front for those two positions. That it would be ungrateful for anyone to be fronted against them in broader scheme of the anti-Museveni struggle. Her determination to defiantly stick to Lukwago and Semujju, against whom Bobi Wine is determined to field candidates, will naturally complicate her political relationship with decision-makers at the Kamwokya-based party. She is used to Mao's benevolence but the response from her political bosses at Kamwokya might turn out to be more severe than she thinks.
