UNAA is pleased to welcome Mr. Vincent Agaba to this year's Trade and Investments Forum.  Mr. Agaba is the Managing Director of Avarts Housing Ltd and the Resident Technical Advisor for Uganda for the International Housing Coalition – IHC Global.  He is one of the founding members and a past CEO/President of the Association of Real Estate Agents of Uganda (AREA-Uganda).

 

Mr. Agaba will be speaking on the following.

 

1:     What is the current state of the real estate market in Uganda within the context of the Covid-19 pademic?

 

2:     Where can be expected of the real estate market in the coming year (ie. up or down) and why?

 

3:     Is there a glut of high-end homes on the market?

 

4:     What constitutes middle-income housing and what constitutes low-income housing.

 

5:     What are the opportunities and challenges for Ugandans in the diaspora who may wish to invest in the Uganda real estate market

 

6:     What are the costs associated with investing in real estate in Uganda (ie. land acquisition, engineering and design, construction) and the potential rental income.
