Prayers alone won't save this country
The Makerere university iconic main building was reported to have caught fire early this morning; something that's quite sad but not strange!
Fire can erupt anywhere. What matters is how police responds to such emergencies.
Wandegeya police station is a few meters away from Makerere university, but there was no single fire truck to respond to the emergency.
The fact is that apart from the fire department based at Clock Tower that was built in 1920s, this Vampire regime has invested zero resources in controlling emergencies.
If the amount of resources put in fighting Besigye were invested in managing emergencies, Kampala would be a better village to live in.
If fire broke up at Worker's house building top last floor, I bet my hand that Uganda police would not extinguish it.
The NRM regime will go in the books of Uganda as the most extravagant regime.
Look at the `SUVs' these vampires cruise in around town!
Last year alone, parliament is reported to have spent over 15billion on buying cars that were used on Common wealth parliamentary conferences that lasted for only 3 days. And where these vehicles now? They are rotting in whatever parking lot they were stashed in!
These vampires have misused tax payers' money; each having a convey valued at over a billion shillings.
If money that was being misused by these vampires was invested into proper use, we would be able to manage such emergencies.
Take the case of the floods in kampala. All it takes is a 30 minute rain pour; and the entire city will be half submerged by the floods!
Do you know why? Because money that is meant to fix the drainage system is stolen. Even if you give NRM another one thousand years, dont expect anything better from them.
These vampires don't care about you. They care about their children, relatives & their concubines.
