Bullet grazes teen boy’s head in Brooklyn shooting

A 16-year-old boy was grazed in the head by a bullet Sunday morning in Brooklyn, the latest incident in a year of rampant gunplay, according to police.

The teen was struck when lead flew on Pacific Street near Buffalo and Rochester avenues in Crown Heights around 11:35 a.m., cops said.

The youth was grazed on the head by a slug and rushed to Maimonides Medical Center, where the wound was deemed non-life-threatening, authorities said.

Investigators said that the shooting erupted from a dispute, but could not immediately provide further details.

Six shell casings were found at the scene, and no one was immediately taken into custody.

The attack was one of several instances of gunplay across the city on Sunday — and the year at large.

Late Saturday, New York recorded its 777th shooting incident of 2020, surpassing the 776 recorded in all of 2019.
