{UAH} Why is the Republican party allowing Trump to do so many car crash interviews recently? Are they just feeding him rope so they can dump him?

The Republican party and Trump are two completely different things.

Trump believes himself way way smarter than the RNC. Trump listens to nobody. Trump has a screw loose. He simply refuses to believe bad news.

Only after Trump sees himself being humiliated on TV does he then grudgingly pay attention to professionals - but never for very long.

Trump is stuck on the concept of "TV ratings". He craves attention at any cost. He believes himself to be a devilishly clever and smooth orator. He is convinced that most of America believes the bullshit that spews from his mouth.

The hard truth now is that America has learned it is okay to simply ignore Trump. Trump demands schools open - the vast majority of school district are going to ignore him.
