{UAH} IS TOURISM BRINGING MORE CORONA VIRUS TO AFRICA?

Africans should first sit down and assess the full risk of inviting tourism to our continent from overseas countries. Especially those nations that are currently experiencing a deadly second wave of corona virus deaths and record infections. News reports indicate some countries registering up to 10,000 new infections DAILY. This includes nations like the US, UK, France, Spain, Italy and others. Clearly there must be some minimum responsibility and concern from Africa CDC and the Corvid-19 task force of individual African countries on the real possibility of even more corona virus coming to Africa from its current epicentres in Europe and America.

African governments must be able to monitor the global data and act based on that data as it now shows many wazungu getting sick, being hospitalized and dying at unprecedented numbers from the disease today more than ever before, and still wanting to travel around the world as if there is no risk of transporting more of the disease to Africans and our pristine tourism destinations.
