KAMPALA - Forum for Democratic Change presidential candidate, Patrick Oboi Amuriat on Friday visited Buganda Kingdom at Bulange Mengo during which he unveiled his plans for the Kingdom to the Katikkiro of Buganda Charles Peter Mayiga.
After meeting Mayiga, Amuriat, in the accompaniment of the party chairman, Wasswa Biriggwa, Asuman Ssemakula, among other top FDC bigwigs walked to FDC offices.

Katikkiro appealed to the leaders to embrace Buganda's five values; hardworking, respecting the King, protecting the throne, land, cultural norms, among others.
He said that as a Kingdom, Buganda welcomes all leaders regardless of their tribe or political party.
"I hosted NRM's Buganda Region Chairman Kiwanda Suubi here, who delivered President Yoweri Museveni's presidential ambitions, also hosted NUP's presidential candidate-Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, and now I have FDC's Patrick Oboi Amuriat, and his team with me here, "said Mayiga.

He appealed to leaders to promote unity among their supporters to guarantee the safety of our Country.
Mayiga has hailed Amuriat, for putting the Federal system of governance into consideration in his manifesto.
Ballot paper printing
About sending representatives abroad to witness the ballot paper printing, Amuriat said: "This should have been declared earlier, but as of now, it is too late."

He said the Electoral Commission has not been transparent enough. "Actually, votes have already been rigged but this will not deter us from taking part so that NRM's Yoweri Museveni, does not get a high percentage, we need to get where to base our grounds after the stolen victory, "added Amuriat.
Amuriat also bought 400 Kabaka birthday run t-shirt kits at Sh4m and a certificate at sh2m.
