{UAH} Kenyan Media: Ugandan Bound Trucks “Ferrying Firearms” Intercepted in Kenya
One of the impounded trucksAuthorities in neighboring Kenya have reportedly impounded two trucks which are believed to have been ferrying firearms to Uganda.
The trucks which were traveling from Mombasa to Kampala were reportedly intercepted at the Webuye weighbridge.
Kenyan media, quoting sources , reported yesterday that the trucks were stopped following a tip off from detectives.
There were also reports that another two trailers were seized in Nairobi and one in Bungoma.
The local media reported that the later on, the trucks were escorted off to an unknown destination by the Kenyan Armed General Service Unit.
The was no word yet on how many and what kind of fire arms were being ferried in the trucks.
