Four time presidential candidate Dr. Kizza Besigye has threatened to drag National Resistance Movement (NRM) party Secretary General, President Museveni's PPS Don Wanyama, Government spokesperson Ofwono Opondo and the Attorney General to court over defamation.

In a letter of Notice of Intension to Sue dated 16^th November, 2020, Besigye, through his lawyers of Lukwago & Co. Advocates, says that the accused used his voice wrongly to campaign for their candidate Yoweri Tibuhaburwa Museveni.

Besigye has given the accused seven (7) days to remove the malicious social media posts against him and apologize to him.
