Weapons Captured in Kenya linked to a Ugandan group funded by Rwanda.

Uganda's external intelligence and Military intelligence together with Kenya authorities carried out an operation to intercept five trucks full of guns heading to Uganda.

Uganda's intelligence was aware of weapons moving from Mombasa to Uganda, the Ugandan side was monitoring the movement of these trucks which were at a standstill waiting for the right moment. The riots provided good cover for the weapons to move in while security was engaged. Kenyan authorities were immediately asked to intercept.

Ideally, intelligence wanted to let the weapons enter Uganda so that they could arrest whoever is involved, but the timing of their movement could not allow them to take the risk. It become a very risk to do surveillance on trucks loaded with weapons in a riot situation, they could have disappeared anywhere.

Intelligence about the purchase of these weapons and where they were headed to came in from a foreign country that is currently so close to Uganda. Unfortunately due to the sensitivity of this case, this country and other operational specs can't be given.

The President has recently made mention of foreign interference, Rwanda has appointed an intelligence person as their Ambassador to Uganda a sign that his duties are not so diplomatic as expected.

Many Rwandan operatives that were arrested and deported to Rwanda have since used illegal entry points to return to Uganda, they are facilitated by the Rwandan Embassy in Kampala and are linked to mobilizing riots in Kampala.

It's not clear how President Museveni will retaliate, it's seems that he is more bothered with party politics now and unwilling to discuss Rwanda's interference, President Museveni is also known to maintain silence as he contemplates his next move, with the guns available this time he has been given the proof he asked for showing that Rwanda wants him out violently.
